  • Mr. and Mrs. Case 50 years together

Mr. and Mrs. Case will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and I am privileged to be their photographer for their special party this month. They moved into their dream home a few years ago and I went to visit them a few days ago for portraits. They are so beautiful! You can see how much in love they still are. 0529-152830 0529-152812

Here are a few more poses. I really like the one with the house in the background. I wonder if their contractor would want a copy for their advertising?

Mr. Case is a retired pastor and regular is a special speaker for various events and needed a portrait of himself alone. This is a pictures I took in his study.

  • Sorry so absent----More Katy and Steve

I am sorry I have been so absent latey. I have been so busy editing, shooting, and working with the Kate and Evan on their 4-H projects blogging just took a back seat. Hopefully as wedding season hit's full swing this month I will have time to post as I go along and not just flood you one day with the 3 weddings all at once.

I finished Katy and Steve's Engagement session and I am looking forward to their wedding in 3 weeks.  You rememer the top picture from an earlier post. Oh these are all from the Fuji S5. I LOVE this camera! You can view their slideshow from their personal web page. www.gardenrose.net/trusty.htm

  • Samantha and Brett

I had the fun task of taking engagement portraits of Samantha and Brett the day after I took Kristen and Jon's. We had a wonderful time in historical downtown Muncie, Indiana and I am still working on getting just the right feel to their pictures. I hope they like the samples so far. I am looking forward to adding the specialy composed music that Samantha is going to email me, to the portriats for their slideshow. Here is Samantha and Brett.

  • More Kristen and Jon

Here are my top 11 favorites excluding the one in my last post. I love it too but I have already posted it so it is not in this batch. I still need to make a slideshow but I still haven't found the perfect song for Kristen and Jon. I will post it when I get it the way I want it. :)

  • Kristen and Jon

This last Saturday I had a wonderful engagement session with Kristen and Jon. We had a wonderful time at Matter park and I am still working on all the beautiful pictures. After just browsing the 600+ pictures I took saturday I was really pulled to this picture below. Kristen has the grace and beauty of a dancer and this particular picture really shows it. I will post the slideshow when I am finished.

  • A fast week gone by

I am sorry I haven't posted in over a week. Things have been a whirlwind of are we going to Arkansas or are we not. In the end Debbie didn't want us to come so we didn't go. She is home now still taking very large amount of antibiotics. Her doctor says that she can have surgery to remove the bad in a couple of weeks as soon as the infection is gone and she has recovered some strength.  Thanks so much everyone for praying for her.

I have been crazy busy with a little bit of everything. From just trying to catch up on the stuff at home and working on more marketing plans and trying to boost visits to my website. My friend Krisha had her baby and I will be going to her house next week to take pictures there along with a Tortilla Casserole. Yum! She has a c-section so our bible study is helping provide dinners for her for the next two weeks. I have two engagement sessions one Saturday and one Sunday. I hit the road today for my biweekly 230 mile round trip drive to pick up my kids. Oh I miss them when they are in that in that place. Things are crazy but I promise I will post more next week.

I held it in my hands!

I went to Jack's Camera last week to pick up another back up flash and it was there.....The Fuji Finepix S5 PRO I was so beautiful. It was a joy to hold and the sound of it's shutter clicking off frame after frame. SIGH.....I have decided to put my extra hard drive purchases on hold and start saving for the S5 and put it at the top of my purchase list. It will be mine......oh yes.......ACK!  I'm Wane!  Oh yes........ACK! I did it again.

I am so impressed with the lack of noise at high ISO settings with this camera. I will have to sell the S2 and get this camera. I seem to fight with noise problems with every shoot I do. This camera will speed up post processing and make it so it's more enjoyable.

Link to a post on OSP Forum  that shows pictures taken with this camera at 3200 ISO. I mean awesome!

  • Chaos Kitty---This one is for my friend Jo

Hubby and I and Geeks and proud of it. We are computer using, CCG (collectable card game) playing, miniature painting, anti-sports, sci-fi loving Geeks. We play a few miniature based games with our kids and recently Hubby came home with a box of 24 orcs. Just like Lord of the Rings, he has plans for us to fight orcs. Well hubby has a problem on his desk many night. Our cats love to sit in front of his laptop and ahem...request....attention. Tonight the orc horde came out to fend her off. But I don't think she was very impressed.
