Even on Vacation
Well the beach was all I could have hoped it would be. I know they tell you that the ocean is salt water but I still found it quite a suprise when I got some water in my mouth and still found it salty! lol!
Well even on the beach with my little point and shoot camera I couldn't stop myself from working a little. Hubby and I befriended this newlywed couple from New York at Sandals and we really liked them. They had such wonderful personality and were so cute together. I offered to take a few pictures of them and then send them to them. It was just my little F30 not my big Nikon so it was not as if I really was working, right?
Here they are after he just finished his ride on the wave runner.

That water looks amazing! These are great pics and I bet they are going to be so happy to have met you and that you took these. I hope there are more pics of your trip to come.
Thanks Melissa! There are more coming but believe it or not I really didn't take that many. I relaxed. Ok so I took arround 150 but you know how that goes only about half of that will be those pictures you really loved. Also the Zoo took up about 2/3 of that. As soon as the Bridal Show is done on Saturday I should have more time to work on them.
cute couple and great shots of them with the "little f30"! that's what i just purchased for my trip to hawaii. it's a good "little" camera and i am very pleased with the results. michael muramoto bought one too and i think scott robert was contemplating it. great little unit! i shot around 200 - 300 a day with my camera. huge job to post process them but i'm glad to have them all!
this couple will love these shots!
I really do love mine. I got a dx card reader that looks like a pen drive and use Alan Light's Dim program on them and walk away when i come back all my pictures are on my computer. I have also learned how to play in the A/S mode to really customize the exposure. I just wish DX cards came bitter than 2Gig!
They will LOVE these images!! I just can't get over how beautiful the wtaer looks behind them, it almost looks fake! lol... Ah, it's a whopping 10 degrees here today and is supposed to get colder! Can't wait for my Florida trip next month.
So beautiful. Love your photos! I, too, was like "ohhhhh yuck it's salty" after my first time in the ocean... even knowing all about the salt water. I guess I just never thought about swimming in it. I'm still not a fan of swimming in the ocean. I love looking at it. Anyway, your comment cracked me up about the salt. LOL!!! Thanks for stopping by our blog and leaving such a kind comment! I'm not that great at updating it so be patient with me!! Take care! ~ Dawn
Amy I know what you mean. Coming back to almost 0 degrees was terrible after spending 6 days in the high 70's. I came home to three rose cataloges in my mail and it really put me in the mood for spring and planting new roses. I want this one and this one and that one! Spring won't get here fast enough.
