I am such a featherhead!
One of the places we visited on New Providence Island in the Bahamas was The Ardstra Gardens, Zoo and Conversation Center. It wasn't a super large place but it was one to behold. Lots of feathered friends a some exotic cats. They were all napping the day I was there and I will post more pictures later today when I get time. The biggest attraction for me was the number of birds there at the Zoo. The National Bird of the Bahamas is the Flamingo and the Zoo had a great deal of them since they were one of the start attractions. Here are a few of my favorite pictures of these strange and beautiful birds.

Whoa! That feather detail shot is amazing! I love how the light is coming through the feathers. I can't wait to see more pics. Glad you had such a good time and arrived home safely.
Flamingos are one of my favorite things! I just love those pink birds!! Can't wait to hear all about your trip!!
I love how they are not baby powder pink they are. They are almost orange they are so bright. Oh I wish I could have one as a pet.
Thank you! I am OBSESSED with flamingos! Did you know they discontinued the production of plastic yard flamingos? I was devastated. I would buy about ten if I could find them anywhere and stick them all over my yard. How tacky and fabulous! Gorgeous details - love your stuff!
