  • Finally! My website it done!

Well after many revamps and redos I think I am satisfied for now. I think all my links are linked and all my gallery's are uploaded. Tonight I uploaded the last of the Portfolio callers. I am really proud of my Album Showcase Gallery. I went though all of the weddings I have done in professionally, even one on film, and revamped and made pages of them. WOW am I tired of looking at this screen. Take a look at that and the Sample Slideshow. It has some portrait pictures and babies too. Click on the picture below!

  • Great looking site... I read through it quick and didnt catch any typos so great job...

  • Looks good!!  Great job!!  I could never do that myself!

  • Nice website Candice.  I see you use Photoreflect as your shopping cart system.  Do you like it?  Is it easy to use?  I'm thinking of using them because it seems like a great deal...no fees, unlimited uploads, unlimited storage...sounds good to me but is it too good to be true?  I'm so new to all this stuff.  It seems like all the talk on the Gary Fong blogring is about Pictage.  I don't know what to do...HELP!

  • OOh ... id love some advice about photoreflect too.  The website looks beautiful and I LOVE the way you have it laid out telling people exactly how to navigate the site.  Its so simple, informative, and beautiful!  Well done!

  • I really do like photoreflect. You get to choose the Lab you use out of a list of 30+ labs. I like All American Photo very much. Free software to upload and manage. The first order I had it took me a while to figure out how to save ect but AAP printed and shipped in one business day from when I sent the order to them for printing. Shipping is reasonable and I never have to worry about delivery it goes directly to them. There is a small percentage taken out of each order but NOTHING like Pictage. I know there are some hardcore Pictage users on Xanga but I simply cannot afford $50 a month plus 15% I am too small for that right now.

The only thing I wish I could change about Photoreflect is the two week wait for my check after their server is updated when an order is shipped from the lab. I understand why they do it but man two weeks! If you have any question as you are sitting down at the computer message or email me or call the number on my website and I will do what I can to help. :)

It is so funny how much you all like my site. It is so different from most of the Flash sites most photographers have. I laid mine out in Quark Xpress because of my computer aided publishing experience in college and my husband Mr. Cold Fusion and Java and XML looks at my site and kind of chuckles about how inefficient the coding of the site is. I just figured I can't wait around for him to decide the most efficient way to do it and I made it look pretty. I hope my future customers find it helpful.

  • Thanks for the info Candice. I'm not ready yet to get a shopping cart system set up but when I am I may take you up on your offer and pick your brain a bit more. :)
