  • I have returned!

Well I came back if only to post what I have been working on lately. Between my cold and spraining my Knee I have been so out of it. But thanks to wonderful drugs from my doctor and some decongestants I am back with a project for inexpensive christmas presents!

If you have heard of www.stamps.com and gone to their photo stamps part of their website you know what I am talking about You can take your own picture and have it turned into a custom postage stamp.

So I spent some time yesterday creating little stamp images for our families. One of my parents and one for my inlaws. They are most likely the best composite I have ever done but they are not bad for 1"x1" printing.

Everyone uses stamps for one thing or another. Why not brag about your grand kids while you do it? Sounded good to me! I hope they go over well. What would you think of you got stamps with your kids and your sisters' kids on them? I may be a little cheesy but I think it is great!

  • I think they're really cool, but a total rip off!  Almost $1 for a .39 stamp.  I had considered offering those to my brides, but figured I wouldn't be able to make any money on them, so I would rather try to sell them the thank you card instead.  They are neat though for your own personal use!!!  Hope you're feeling better!

  • Glad to see you back. I saw the add on t.v. for those stamps. I had never checked into how much they were but if they are like $1 each like Amy said then I think they are a great gift because I don't know anyone who would buy those for themselves at that price. I'm sure they will be a hit on Christmas.

  • I love this idea ... I think its so clever ... and I think if I would pay $1 a piece for a stamp, then my clients will too.  Its worth a try.
