Saving an important picture
Well after having a great time with the kiddos this weekend I sat down tonight and starting a project for my sister. I am working on a composit picture of my sister at 9 months old in 1971 and then my 9 month old neice. The first step was fixing a scan of a damaged wallet sized picture. I have never done much with restoration but I have this book.......and now you get to see the results of my two hours. One reading over the book and the other working on the picture. I have never really done much restoration work but I think I am getting the hang of it. I hope to offer some restoration options to my customers in the future but for right now I am just practicing. Let me know what you think.

I just learned restoration and it ROCKS! Once you get the hang of it, you can fix a photo in like 10 minutes that will really wow your customer! It's a good thing to offer during the slow months when there isn't much else going on, and you can charge quite a bit for it and people will pay!!
Looks fabulous! I'm sure once you get quicker at it and start offering it to you customers, they are really going to appreciate the option of that service.
Thanks! I have been trying to add something to do in the winter. The first three months of the year always seem slower. I want my elderly neighbor to let me scan a picture of her and her 4 sisters from the 1950's. I really want to take a stab at fixing and also colorization.
Thank you for subscribing and for your beautiful statements on Fong's blog. Just awesome!
